Guest guest
Here's how I explain the difference between vulvodynia and vulvar vestibulitis: Vulvodynia is a general term that basically means 'vulvar pain'. It is basically a catch-all term for any kind of pain in the vaginal area. Vulvar Vestibulitis is a subset of vulvodynia. It is a specific condition and therefore has a specific name. Another subset of vulvodynia (for example) is Lichen Sclerosis. Does that make sense?
