'Dissolving' fibroids

Hello everyone,

I've been treating a patient with fibroids for a few months now with promising

results.  Initially, while waiting for the results of her scans to confirm the

diagnosis of fibroids, I just treated her with a simpe astringent mix (Trillium,

Vitex, Geranium, Paeonia, Schizandra) that worked very well to control her

(almost) continuous heavy bleeding.

For the last few weeks I have switched her to a mix aimed more directly at the

fibroids -Vitex, Dioscorea, Chelidonium, Phytolacca, Alpinia, Cimicifuga,

Trillium + a tea of Alchemilla & Rubus (and the patient is also taking

Serrapeptase and using castor oil packs).  The patient is reporting that her

abdomen feels less swollen and 'smaller' and her period was a lot less painful,

less heavy and with only tiny clots present.  However, she has started to spot

continuously again (outside of the periods).  She describes the blood as very

dark and different to dark period clots - ''almost like its dead''.  The

quantity is very small and there is no accompaning discomfort - she feels its

just a nuisance.  Is it possible that this could actually be material from the

fibroid?  I am tempted to give her some astringents again, but don't want to do

this if it, in any way, slows the fibroids shrinking/dissolving.

Sorry for the lengthy description.  Any advice, experience, help would be much

appreciated.

Thanks,

gursewa harrad.
