Guest guest
Thank you Joy! You gave me just the lift I needed. Yes, these are supposed to be the "golden years", but somehow not so much. I try to always see the glass as half full, but is sometimes hard. It is good to have your good words. I pray that you can have a good summer. It is cold snowy winter here. Had to scrape ice off my car to get out. Now found I have cataracts and will have surgery next month. Never a dull moment. Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, I’m sad to hear the neurological condition is hard again, have the meds that worked before lessened in their effect? I’ve found some meds also ‘alternative therapies ‘ work great at first, but slowly decline... you start wondering. Then there’s a tiring round of trying different things. What support do you have, for you? It seems there’s a plethora of support agencies here, mostly govt, but criteria, and funding – well! But slowly, this year, avenues have opened up - ironically because pushed to extreme, have now a lot more support than this time last year. I truly hope no-one could be offended – not on a group such as this. It isn’t just bronch we deal with, but a rage of linked conditions, and others. How to manage one bunch, let alone more ?? And then - support those who need you when you’re struggling so hard just to get by day-to-day to look after yourself..... and well, wasn’t it supposed to get easier? it’s all topsy-turvy. It’s hard for others to comprehend the chimeral nature of this condition, it’s complexity, when we ourselves don’t know from one day/week/month how our health will be. I’ve had a few ‘rails’ this year, it has been one of the toughest yet with this condition, and am so glad that there were people who devised this technology – for all it’s downfalls, it’s a shame it’s benefits are noted more often. I wish there was something I could do ! Buckets of love, joy
