Guest guest
It’s my understanding that as long as there is no intervention done during the cath (like placing a stent), then it is still to be billed to OACC. From: TxFinancialCoordinators [mailto:TxFinancialCoordinators ] On Behalf Of sdray77 Sent: Friday, June 15, 2012 10:37 AM To: TxFinancialCoordinators Subject: [Caution: Message contains Suspicious URL content] Donor Testing We have a donor who has a positive dobutamine stress echo (DSE), one of the Dr's on our team wants to do a Cardiac Cath to rule out a false positive. Would the Cardiac Cath be billed to the recipients insurance (Medicare Cost report) or since the DSE was positive, would the Cardiac Cath be billed to the donors insurance?
