It’s my understanding that as long as there is no intervention done during the cath (like placing a stent), then it is still to be billed to OACC.

We have a donor who has a positive dobutamine stress echo (DSE), one of the Dr's on our team wants to do a Cardiac Cath to rule out a false positive. Would the Cardiac Cath be billed to the recipients insurance (Medicare Cost

report) or since the DSE was positive,would the Cardiac Cath be billed to the donors insurance?
