Guest guest
Hi! I am reviewing the 2012 TFCA Resource Guide for the Transplant Financial Coordinator...on page 191 there is a statement from Medicare (Elimination of Time Limit on Medicare benefits for Immunosuppressive Drugs). DOES THIS MEAN THAT IMMUNOS ARE COVERED UNDER MEDICARE BEYOND THE 3 YEARS AFTER KIDNEY TRANSPLANT?
Guest guest
Robin, The time limit still exists for patients covered under Medicare for ESRD only. They keep coverage when covered for disability or age, and continue to have Medicare.
