Guest guest Posted July 2, 2012 Report Share Posted July 2, 2012 Ice chewing is an indicator of anemia-- pica is the condition of eating non nutritional things due to iron or mineral deficiency. Ice chewing enrages me but I also had a compulsion to eat massive quantities of ice until diagnosed with severe anemia and put on iron. It could be a true medical condition just like misophonia so try to be as understanding as you wish to be understood.
