I didn’t know your center is using the TLI/ATG regimen! That was invented here at Stanford. We have the same problem as far as getting an auth upfront that we’re told covers everything, and then later finding out it only covers the admit, or the transplant infusion but NOT the admit, or else it’s just a transplant CASE number and separate auths are needed for the admit AND the infusion! I have been given an auth to find out it was only for the ATG admission. This is with a letter of MN stating the exact dates of admission and tp, submitted with clinical and a patient calendar. I would like a direct line to the Case Managers and have all

eggs in one basket with them for authorization through the transplant process.

Auth, review, ect.

More and more I find I have to speak with a dozen people before

I get an auth for all services.
