CareMark Prescription Coverage

Hi all,

Caremark Specialty pharmacy will not give us patient’s

Rx benefit summary and out of pocket responsibility with out an actual

prescription. And we are requesting the information at time of consent. Any suggestions

on how to obtain medication benefit summary from a Specialty pharmacy prior to

transplant?

Have you asked them to just run a test claim? I have had this problem with a

few pharmacies, but Caremark has not been one of them. Frequently I will call

back and try to talk to someone else if I don't get the answer I'm looking for

the first time. Or, you could try asking for a supervisor.
