Guest guest
Hi all, Caremark Specialty pharmacy will not give us patient’s Rx benefit summary and out of pocket responsibility with out an actual prescription. And we are requesting the information at time of consent. Any suggestions on how to obtain medication benefit summary from a Specialty pharmacy prior to transplant? Thanks, Wanda Cabrera Operations & Finance Manager Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Heart Failure and Transplant Program 201 Lyons Avenue, Suite L4 Newark, NJ 07112 Tel : Fax: email: wcabrera@... Guest guest
Hi Wanda, Have you asked them to just run a test claim? I have had this problem with a few pharmacies, but Caremark has not been one of them. Frequently I will call back and try to talk to someone else if I don't get the answer I'm looking for the first time. Or, you could try asking for a supervisor. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
