I sent a letter to the editor. Not sure it will do any

good, but I pointed him in the direction visiting at

our site and getting some first-hand knowledge of the

disease.

Of course, having had some journalism experience,

reporting news that shocks the public is what they

want, and giving a country singer 2 years to live is

more shocking than having to say....he may live up to

as many as 20 or so years before needing a transplant,

etc. etc. (of course, maybe his disease progression is

such that the report was accurate, however, the

article should have also indicated that there are

people that survive and lead normal lives alot longer.
