living donor billing of surgical charges

Hello Everyone,

How do you bill the living donor surgical charges for the harvest? Do you add the recipient insurance to that patient’s account? Or do you move the charges on to the recipient account? Does it vary by insurance?

We have some donors that are anonymous and I was recently told to move the charges to the recipient account so that the donor would remain anonymous.
