oh great, I just realized that they have since removed the pages describing his misophonia and how the doctor helped him since the last time I posted this, oh well... I have read an account of someone who over came misophonia.I have posted this here a couple of times before, this is a link to a book you can read partially on google books "Muscle Tension and Chronic Pain"in the "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook" by Davies.

In chapter 12, (you can read most of it on google books) he describes his sound sensitivity which sounds like a textbook case

of 4s/miso and how he learned to control it with a combination of hypnosis,

muscle relaxation and systemic desensitization starting with imagining

hearing the sounds and trying to remain a relaxed state while under hypnosis.
