First pre-transplant work up

Hi everyone,

I'm newly hired as TFC at a Driscoll Children's Hospital in South Texas. I am scheduled to meet with my first patient for financial counseling on July 10th. Can anyone offer me some advice on what to discuss with the patient? Unfortunately, I was not able to get much training/time with the previous TFC here, so I'm not sure where to start. I'd just like to make sure I cover my bases. Also, this patient is pediatric and has commericial insurance (BCBS), Medicare and Medicaid.
