I think it is great you sent that stuff through. ALthough it is pretty

technical you can still get the gist of it.

interesting to note the links with the BCP....

thanks heaps.

I'm also in the process of putting them into HTML so that everyone can read

them with no worries. I got hold of them through my father in law who is

Prof of ObGyn at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. When he heard about

my problem he did a search for me of all the available papers and he sent

the list to me in November last year, I could ask him to do an up to date

search if that's needed. I'm not sure of all the terminology in the

abstracts, they do get technical but if it's names of drugs I'd suggest

going to one of the RX sites i.e. http://www.rxlist.com/ and looking up the

names. Also www.obgyn.net has links to explanations of procedures etc. I

hope that I haven't created more confusion. I haven't looked at them all in

enough detail. I don't have an agenda in posting them, just to add to

information out there!

Deb at DLitzfletc@...

Sal, I also found the abstracts by doing an online search. The particular

site I used allowed you to order the articles for a fee. However, if they are

published in scientific journals, they may be pretty complicated and the

summary may be equally informative for us. They were also pretty expensive

($10 or more per article).

I think part of the reason there are so many conflicting views and research

findings is because vulvodynia may be an umbrella term for vulvar pain but

that there are multiple distinct causes, depending on the cause the treatment

response may vary. Deb
