Outpt Dialysis for Medicare recipient with Acute Renal Injury.

Good morning, I have a Liver Tx candidate with hepatorenal syndrome causing renal failure, on dialysis at our Hospital and to be discharged soon.A Social Worker from Davita said “Medicare and Medicaid do not cover outpatient hemo dialysis for patients with Acute Kidney Injury.” What do you suggest we do as pt cannot stay in house indefinitely?
