Guest guest
Dear Eleanor, I just received my 150g/0.005g scale from Scales USA at http://scalesusa.zoovy.com/ for $199.95. All of their scales have 1 year warranty and they also told me that after the warranty expires, if something happens to my scale, I will be able to trade it in for a new one(I think they mean that they will offer me a depreciated price for my old scale which they will then discount when I purchase a new scale from them). However, they told me that as long as my scale is taken care of, it should last me numerous years. I checked their website but cannot seem to find this scale on their website anymore. If you are interested in getting this scale, you may want to email them directly and ask if they are selling this scale anymore. I know you are looking for a 0.01oz. scale but they have a variety of scales therefore, it may be worth checking out their website.
Guest guest
In my opinion, yes, the My Weigh is a dependable brand (but mine does not weight to .01 oz.). I like it much better than the Escali I had prior to it. I purchased mine from Old Will Knott and am very happy with it. If you do order from Old Will Knott -- check his Ebay auctions before you order. I found that the price was less, and he included more extras (such as the power cord) on the Ebay auctions. HTH Shay I am looking for a new scale that will weigh to .01 oz. Is Oldwill Knott a reliable company and " My Weigh " a dependable brand? Guest guest
Eleanor, I purchased a set of scales from the individual in question. He did his part in getting them to me in a professional manner. However, one week after they arrived and I began to use them, they " broke " and just didn't work right anymore. I tried and tried to get in touch with the company that makes the scales. I left numerous messages describing my situation to them. No one ever returned my call. I would always get an answering machine. To this day, I still have those scales that are simply taking up space both on my counter and my credit card.
