Hi everyone,I’m wondering how you designate colonoscopies, mammograms, PSA, and other “screening” types of tests and procedures when a patient is in pre-evaluation for transplant? I realize they are required for candidacy; however, they also are things that should be done on a routine basis, based on various age requirements. Do you bill them or have them always go to the acquisition cost center, regardless? In addition, if your clinic or hospital provides the patient with Hep A or B, pneumovax, flu vaccine, Zostavax vaccines, do you bill for them or do they go to acquisition? Thanks everyone! Still so much to learn, even after being in my role for 1 year already!! J M.
