Hi Sara,As long as it is a complication it is billed to the recipients payer.Hope this helps,Thanks,BillReply-To: <TxFinancialCoordinators >Date: Wednesday, August 8, 2012 10:59 AMTo: "TxFinancialCoordinators " <TxFinancialCoordinators >Subject: Living Donor - Wound Vac

Hoping I can get some quick assistance: If a living kidney donor had a complication that requires a wound vac, and she now is having home health set up for wound vac changes and management, is the home health to be billed to the recipient’s insurance? She will also come to the wound center once/week to assess the need for the wound vac. Will that also be billed to recipient’s insurance?
