Hello all:

Our BMT program is having a problem with Medicare reimbursement for stem cell transplants for patients with Myelofibrosis and lymphoma. Could someone please help me.

We have not had any success in finding out if Medicare will cover stem cell transplants for patients with diagnosis of Myelofibrosis and patients with diagnosis of Lymphoma. Medicare's transplant policy is silent on both diagnoses,and we have patients waiting for answers.

What is Medicare's coverage position for stem cell transplants for patients with diagnosis of Myelofibrosis or Lymphoma?

I will appreciate any assistance that you can provide.
