Guest guest
Hi Whitney,It will not be an issue as long as the bills are being billed to the Transplant Center and not to the patient or the payer for the patient and as long as the orders are following the protocol.Hope this helps,Thanks,BillReply-To: <TxFinancialCoordinators >Date: Monday, May 21, 2012 10:20 AMTo: <txfinancialcoordinators >Cc: Billie Oden Subject: ordering/performing physicians Lately when one of our coordinators schedules the basic labs and renal ultrasound ordered by Dr Potter our surgeoon, she has been scheduling these on the same day that cardiology is doing their workup and stress test or possibly heart cath. Sometimes all of these tests are put under Dr Potter other times all tests are put under the cardiologist making it look like the cardiologist is ordering the renal ultrasound or that Potter is doing the cath. Is this ok? This is fairly recent and only happens to one nurse coordinator.....Any help greatly appreciated.
