Guest guest
Hi- I have a kidney transplant patient that has private insurance primary and medicare secondary. We are out of network with the private insurance plan, and patient has out of network benefits which are reduced. Patient is wondering if Medicare 2ndary would pick up the out of pocket after the primary insurance. I'm tempted to say no, as I believe once out of network Medicare will not pick up, but I'm unable to locate the guidelines on the Medicare website. I'm hoping that someone can direct me to where I can find this on the Medicare website? thanks DonovanTransplant Financial CoordinatorSUNY Upstate Medical University750 East StreetSyracuse, New York 13210Phone: 315 464-6290Fax: 315 464-6288Donovanl@...The information contained in this email is confidential intended only for the use of the party to whom it is addressed.
