We have not had a Medicaid only case since we have been CMS certified; however, I do believe we would likely accept them. We have accepted Medicaid only for our VAD patients. M. Our center does Kidney and Pancreas only and we do evals on Medicaid only patients all the time for in state patients. In state for us is NH and VT due to

being a border facility. We would consider out of state if we are enrolled with that state and providing that state would approve the tx here (that would be next to never).

I don’t believe that a facility could contractually/legally exclude the Medicaid population for the home state if enrolled as a provider.
