Guest guest
I have a patient that had her kidney transplant in May of 2011 and wants to terminate her group health and obtain Aetna Medicare Advantage Plan PPO. Do the same rules apply that if Medicare did not pay for the transplant or not part of the COB at the time of transplant they will not pay for the immunos post transplant. Please advise ASAP as the patients open enrollment for this plan is pending.
