Does this patient have a part D

plan? If so, we require patients to have the minimum of 5K in savings or

fundraising and to be actively fundraising to cover future costs. We also

encourage patients to keep trying for a supplement plan. Is she 65 or older or

on disability?

I’m

stuck! Hoping to get some guidance….

I

have a Medicare only patient looking to be listed for kidney transplant.

She is pre-dialysis. She recently applied for a BC/BS supplement, but was

denied. Any suggestions??? I’m not sure what to do here.
