Guest guest
Dear Kiernan, Here you go! Research YOU CAN do. From the fall issue of the NVA newsletter. Researchers at s Hopkins University are looking for volunteers to take part in a 3-4 month study concerning pain perception. You don't have top live near s Hopkins to be a subject in the study. The criteria for qualifying to be in the study are...you have to be between the ages of 18-45, currently menstruating, not pregnant, been diagnosed with either vulvar vestibulitis or essential vulvodynia for at least 6 months, If your using birth control medication that's a plus. I also know these same people are doing research into cyclic pain in women with either VV or essential vulvodynia. The only different criteria are you CAN NOT be on birth control medication. Contact at Blaustein Pain Center, s Hopkins Hospital at or by e mail clsander@... Also from the same issue of the NVA news........ A survey to evaluate whether vulvodynia has a hereditary component is being done by two doctors. Guest guest
I contacted in reference to this and she got back to me right away. I would urge anyone who's *at the end of their rope* with this condition to contact her about participating in the study. Donna P.
