Guest guest
Your medicare rx program covered the Provigil? Because my medicare rx did not. Re: RE: I miss reading books.Byron? I tried provigil. It was covered under medicare's rx drug program. It helped me some, but then I had a severe crash. I found the older sudafed (not the new stuff) to help, and I still use it periodically. Seems to lossen up the back of my neck muscles. And it gave me a bit of energy. I've never tried ritalin. Might be worth a try.
Guest guest
Yes, it did. About 8 years ago. Thru prescription solutions, thru United Heath care, thru AARP. I do not have a supplemental medical plan, just the RX and regular medicare. > > Your medicare rx program covered the Provigil? Guest guest
OK, thank you then, for that information. I have Silverscript myself, which currently does *not* cover Provigil. Since there's usually plusses and minuses with all the different Medicare rx coverages, I never bothered switching before. So thank you for letting me know. Guest guest
You probably didn't appeal enoguh times. if you keep at it, eventually, you can get them to pay for just about anything (except benzodiazepines and barbiturates, since they are excluded from medicare Part D). If you and your doctor provide enough documentation and you've tried (or it would be unsafe for you to try) the formulary alternatives, they should cover it, eventually.
