Guest guest
Splenda STARTS with sugar, but then they add chlorine and jump to the end, your body can't process it and it never goes away (in your body or the environment). It is also an endocrine interrupter, which is vary bad (like BPA, but worse). It is a known carcinogen. Truvia (stevia) is all natural and safe. Steve M in PA , Splenda too, huh? I thought so! I didn't like the taste, but thought I had heard Splenda was made from sugar(?)...
Guest guest
You're more than welcome. There's thirds crazy sweetener that is safe to use in moderation, out is called sucrose or sugar. Again, the key is moderation. =) Yes, I'm being a smart***, but I'm not making fun of anyone here and I sincerely mean it. I'm glad you appreciated my response. Steve M in PA Thank you . Re: Splenda I thought it might be something like that...but evidently it's worse than I thought. :-/ I'm glad I refused to use it. Re: Stevia. I had already read up on it some time ago, and basically it does sound okay. Unfortunately, I don't like its taste and even felt a little sick when I tried it. (and yes, I tried to use it several times). Maybe it is just peculiar to me, as I keep hearing Stevia is safe; good for ya even. (?) Thank you for answering me , I appreciate that. Guest guest
I wish I had never heard of Splenda. I would be in a large bin - 12 X 12 X 15 blowing it down with compressed air without a mask (It was deemed to be " perfectly safe " so they never supplied masks) and I would be breathing it in. There has also been two other people that have been diagnosed with Lupus (males) and two people with lung cancer from the plant and everyone just sweeps it under the rug and act as if people are faking. I have been sick for almost six years and off work for over five. The " General " (a cereal manufacturer) treats me as if I am faking by sending me all over the place to every doctor imanagable yet they all say the same and it still continues. Lately I have passed out three times for no reason and it seems to be getting worse and I am getting really scared. > > , Splenda too, huh? > I thought so! Guest guest
I'm *so* sorry to hear that ! I have had experiences with agencies & directors also wherein they denied asbestos, smoke and other toxins that we workers were breathing in daily. But you were actully bending over the vats breathing in that stuff? How awful! I figure you already thought of this, but just in case, have you seen a naturopath yet? My chiropractor is also a naturopath and so was the one I had in NYC. They've helped me with things that MDs couldn't. Also *accupuncture* didn't help with my pain, but believe it or not, it worked amazingly for anxiety and depression. I found I could think so much more clearly. You probably have already tried lots of things , I'm sure. It might sound stupid to you, but I'll pray for you. It's helped me a lot over the years. I hope so much there is something that can help you. Sending you love. A. Re: Can Artificial Sweeteners make me feel worse?( from A.) I wish I had never heard of Splenda.
