Guest guest
Dr. JM or anyone, I just got my son's titers checked and compared to a year ago, his measles titers are down (1.77 now vs. 2.29 last year), but his rubeola titers are way up - 4.07 now vs. 2.55 last year. Does anyone have an idea what may have caused this, or is it something to worry about? Oddly enough, his twin sister's titers (they had all the same vaccinations) are almost identical this year (I didn't have hers checked last year) - measles 2.25 (what my son's were last year) and rubeola 4.29. Neither one of them were sick last year, other than a couple mild colds and a stomach virus. I didn't do high dose vitamin A on my son, but have consistently given him low (5-10k IU) doses of vitamin A over the last year.
