Guest guest
Netty, I am lactose intolerant too...at one point I was in big trouble if I had a tiny bit of milk or butter. You may still be ab;e to have milk products again.I use Digestive Advantage supplements --take either one or two a day(two to start off with for the first few days).I couldn't drink Lactaid milk at first, but now I *can* andI drink it all the time. There are gluten free foods too in the supermarkets now sometimes, and definitely in specialty stores.First time my stomach didn't hurt after having cookies. Also, if you can handle apsirin, or at least enteric aspirin(the kind that is coated and doesn't dissolve in your stomach)aspirin is the best thing for arthritis, it really is! I actually like aspirin for its affects; it's even somewhat calming, but it does upset my stomach if I use it regularly. You can try wintergreen oil liniments externally, or make white willow bark tea, which is what apirin is dervived from anyway.:-) Re: the kratom-Does it interact with any other presescriptions you're on? For example, I know you're (like myself) prescribed several different meds. Are you taking an antidepresant? Do you take any antihistamines, either prescribed or over the counter? These are some I'm wondering about because I know kratom works differently with different levels. Thanks for sharing information Annette.
