Guest guest
Basically, if you can seal an envelope with snot from your nose, you are able to work and therefore not eligible for SSDI. What got me was how when I would say my Workplace doctor said I was restricted to lifting 20#, when it came back on the denial it would say I was capable of lifting 100#! Where does that crap come from? When I got to my first hearing the denial came back from the judge with the statement of my 'laundry list of complaints'! These were from the notes my Neurologist sent in! Even when I was finally approved the determination said I was 'unable to climb a ladder!' I said I was 'unable to Work from a ladder, especially over my head or reaching out from one!' I can't work from a ladder because of balance problems, but it doesn't necessarily mean I couldn't climb up a ladder from one level to another. 'Course, now, I'm so weak and fatigued I do well to make it up the steps into my house! And I always hold on to a stair rail when walking up or down a set of stairs. Oh well, I guess 'The System' holds all the cards! Even though I've been paying FDIC since I was 16 years old for protection against just such emergencies and eventual retirement. That money was stolen from my paycheck year after year and now they call it an Entitlement? Excuse Me!? Keep on trucking!
