Guest guest
Dear Group, This subject was recently mentioned so I thought I'd share the experience of a RA patient with very severe, long-standing disease. I've written about Lilly before. (She survived the atrocities and near famine of a concentration camp in WWII.) Her Internist and Oncologist thought she had heart involvement and cancer, but it was an unusually severe case of systemic candida. She had been on high doses of antibiotics for years with no provision to counter the loss of good bacteria in the intestine. We nearly lost her several times. The oncologist gave her three transfusions with his own blood. The experts (Warren Levin, Orin Truss, etc. all failed in their attempts to help her.) I finally convinced her to try Candida Plus, reducing the AP dosage. Dr. Franco was very pleased with the lab reports which showed slow but continuing improvement. However, the RA worsened to the point she was incapable of doing anything again - worse than ever. Lilly begged Dr. Franco to order IVs but he decided to change oral antibiotics to Cipro. The Cipro was a big success but it caused an increase in the candida which in some areas looked like it was actually eating the flesh. Let me just say - it's very nasty. A real catch 22 situation. I asked her at this point to consider colonics and rectal probiotics. It would eliminate the impaction on the intestinal walls thereby also reducing the candida count, and the infusion of the probiotics would help rebalance the system. (I've been working with Lilly for 9 years and I think if I told her to jump off a bridge she would do it.) Three months ago she started weekly colonics done by a registered nurse who has her own office. They are still removing impacted 'debris'. Yesterday she had No. 13 and last night she called to tell me, to her amazement, they washed out two blueberries. She hasn't had any blueberries since she moved from Florida a year and a half ago! I need to add, this woman does not suffer from constipation and has always had normal elimination. Then there was the case of Riley - another patient like Lilly. After an entire week of colonics her weight dropped 50 pounds. This woman does have constipation problems. There are many clinics in the US and Mexico that treat severely ill patients. Diet, supplements and colonics are the foundation of their therapies. Ethel
