Question regarding steroids (Dr Chiu, anyone)

Hi Group,

I have a question for Dr Chiu or anyone who would know.

I am taking 8mgs of Aristocort (steroid) a day. I am going to the doctors on

thursday to have my knees drained and was wondering if it is OK to have the

steroids injected in my knees while I am on oral steroids?

Before I was on the oral steroids I used to have 20mgs of steroids injected

at the time of the draining. It always made me feel like a new person. The

oral steroids were never as good as the injection.even at a high dosage.

If it would be ok should I not take the 8mgs that day and continue with them

the next day or what?

I would appreciate any help you can give me.
