This morning, I read online that the FCC is making advertisers make commercials the same volume level as tv shows.

They have until Dec. 2012.  I hate loud commercials and apparently others do too.

Amen!!!

I am suspicious, as usual. I wouldn't be surprised if, to get around the restriction, advertisers began paying networks to lower their volumes.

how about using closed captioning so you don't hear any of the t.v. triggers?

that is one tool I use on a bad day to decrease my reaction to t.v. triggers.

Good idea... but the pain patch I am on and another two medicines I am on cause blurred vision.. it gets really bad when I am tired which is when I turn on the TV to relax... I wouldn't be able to read anything it said!

I spend more time using my Kindle rather than my TV.. but I sure do miss it.---------------------------------------------------------
