Guest guest
happy new year's to everyone!!! by now I think everyone knew I was attempting to adopt a relative's child from the CPS/ system....but they were concerned about " the dragon " I will keep this as short as possible, my rheumy who is very good friend and a collegue of the great Dr C. Took my charts and expalined everything... a stubborn health care worker that will not give up gereriatrics (what can I say I like my elderly patients....even if they make me sick sometimes because of my meds) that NOW has decided that I really must be superwoman because I just got my youngest daughter off to college and with in a couple months was asked to adopt my cousin's son (he was 4 months old at the time and had bee in foster care since he was 3 days old......ok, come on y'all know me....the only thing that came to mind is " where do I sign " between Dr C and my rheumy they changed my meds (I actually take 2kineret injections a day now as well as weekly MTX and all the fun stuff that goes withit) so far the double kineret seens to be fine other than an increase in headaches and starting over on the site reactions....double bad... Any way we have " our son " at home now since the 16th of December, adoption wont be final for a few more months just because CPS makes you wait 6 mths even though both psrents singed over their rights specfically to my husband and I. He is such a happy, active 7 month old,,,,and strong....weighs 22 1/2 pounds (my joints are not as happy as I am) So we finally have our baby....and if says it's OK I will post a pic on the yahoo page for you to all meet him Now if any one out there wants to give advice on " being superwoman " still being a mom to the two teenagers, a mom to the baby (who needs extra attention becuse of how he started out in life, still work for a busy medical practice (I have cut down to around 40 hrs), still be a wife, a best friend, cook, clean, and not let the dragon take over....please let me know (((hugs to all))))
Guest guest
Of course anyone can post pictures in the photo album Kimber. We would love to see your family and your new young son. I am very happy for you and must say you do have a lot on your plate. Just remember to get a sitter from time to time and take a break with your husband for a meal out or something relaxing and fun. Good luck, -- a good update for a change So we finally have our baby....and if says it's OK I will post a pic on the yahoo page for you to all meet him Now if any one out there wants to give advice on " being superwoman " (((hugs to all))))
