Guest guest
What you describe, feeling more fatigued and brain foggy after eating is a " normal " response to dilation of the blood vessels from eating, especially when eating carbohydrates. It is just that people with these chronic health conditions, CFS, FM, OI, are already too fatigued and brain foggy. So, we feel these symptoms more than others. Eating causes release of insulin. Eating carbohydrates causes a greater release of insulin. Insulin is a vasodilator, that is, our veins widen which slows down blood flow making us tired, more tired than we already felt, less sharp than we were which is already less than sharp. Many of us must lie down or vomit after eating due to our sensitivity to lower blood flow after eating. A low carb diet helps. Adequate saturated fat such as butter, covonut oil, lard, which leads to feeling more satisfied while eating less at meals. toni cf-alliance.org/ from iPad > Hi, > > I suffer from constant fatigue and brain fog, especially about an hour after eating I feel horible until I'm hungry again. Then I feel a bit better but am starving. Plus many foods bother my sinuses. What tests do I ask for? Thanks.
