Guest guest
I have been reading a book that I purchased many years ago while going through a divorce. It is titled, " You Can't Afford The Luxury of a Negative Thought " . At that time, I scanned the book and determined it was not relevant to my predicament of divorce. I was bored this weekend, and I was rifling through some bookshelves and I rediscovered the book. Oh how that book relates to me now! It talks about how to get rid of negative thinking and how to promote healing your body through positive thinking. (Of course, it also says to not abandon medical treatment...but use this in conjunction with medical or alternative treatments). One of the things in the book that is talked about is how scary alot of the acroynms are. PSC, CA, HIV, etc. The book suggests that we should take those acroynms and turn them into something delightful. PSC......hmmmm. Pine Scented Cones (my favorite smell during hunting season)....nope, too specific. Pretty Scary Comotion.....NOPE, that is scary too. Personal Spiritual Challenge....Hmmm, now that rings pretty true. I feel like I am going through a very personal spiritual challenge. From now on, PSC to me means my Personal Spiritual Challenge. I think I can deal with that better than Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. Baudoux-Northrup
