I understand more people have a 3 day weekend if the conference is Labor Day.

Good deal. Thanks for asking about my daughter, her name is Melani. She is

having pain in the jaw that goes into the neck and ears just as you described.

Wow! I hope she gets better soon. I’m going to get her to the dentist and her

R.A. doc is next week. We’ll have her well checked, but at times it’s

something you just have to ride out huh? She has trouble chewing and even

talking. Did anything help you?

What a great idea about a wheel chair. Actually we will probably drive if we go.

I had a regular wheel chair and a motorized wheel chair. I was approved for the

motorized but don’t have a lift. I could rent a car again with one, but it

will require saving until then. I hope I can, as it was so much fun to meet with

all of you at the conference last time. Good choice having it at Orleans again,

that had everything necessary all packed into one. We never went anywhere else

while we were in Vegas.

I want to try out that area of the website for doing a pole. I’ll try to

figure it out. Sounds perfect.

Hope each and every one of those afflicted with this disease have some comfort

and healing. The conference is worth actually seeing and meeting others with the

same illness. It isn’t every day you bump into a person who happens to have

the same illness. I know how much my daughter got out of it just for that reason

alone.

You know when I read Traci's post I remember when I was seeing a different

rheumatologist for a few months, she came in once and said at that time I

tested positive for RA. I asked the group and some others had heard of this

or had the same experiences. I don't think I do now though.

Other things, I'm so sorry your daughter is in such pain with her jaw. Mine

flared in the early years and it did cause pain into my neck and my ear. I

couldn't open it to eat even for weeks. I've never had it flare like that

again and my hopes will be the same for her.

Yes, yes, yes there is a conference in the planning for Labor Day weekend at

the Orleans Hotel. I'm sorry if the flights are more expensive but the room

rates are the cheapest early September, it's often better for those that

work because they usually have the day off. It's been many years we've tried
