Bone growths from arthritis

I went to my rheumy yesterday, and X-Rays showed bone(y) growths near ankles

and top of hip. I have to go for a " Bone Scan " for more analysis.

Anyone else have this? Know what it is or what causes it? Just what I

needed....more complications...
