Hi Daddy Bob,

I’m getting together my list of physicians that have even seen a Still’s

disease patient, and decided to put some phone calls in for my area and do some

research to help your cause.

I have call backs from some that will not get back to me until Monday.

A suggestion I have is to ask what Insurance they take regarding, Medi-Medi

mostly which is Medicare/Medical in California. This is for low income. Also if

they take insurance period!

This I think would be beneficial to have to give out for information on your

list.

I encourage everyone who has the resources in their area to help Bob by sending

the names, phone numbers and addresses of all doctors in your area that you know

of who treat Still’s.

Hi Dad,

Well after much research, I am sad to say that for the San Diego the choices are

unbelievably limited. The only doctor who we know for sure is treating

Still’s is my daughter’s doctor, Corrie Broady and that is because she is

the one who diagnosed the illness, but we think my daughter may be her first and

only case. All the other doctors are available to treat Still’s disease if it

should come up, however when I called each one, I could not get an answer as to

if and how many patients each one treats. I think for anyone stuck in San Diego

area, that at least there is a handful of prospective doctors, however ALL the

others on the list are North of San Diego in neighboring cities that would be

quite a drive from San Diego (30-45 minutes). There is a large population in

North San Diego, so at least there will be some for your list in that area, but

my first choice would be to see if they are willing to drive to San Diego from

the North and see Corrie Broudy in the Hillcrest area of San Diego.
