Guest guest
Dee, It was an interesting segment about vulvodynia. Of course most of my friends go to bed early and probably didn't see it. The one thing that always bothers me with these stories is that people that did see the story will think that all we have to do is run out and have this surgery and all will be well. Unfortunately that isn't always the case, and what if heaven forbid you find a surgeon that isn't that knowledgeable and you could end up with more pain. I shouldn't be so negative but I worry about the ladies that have surgery. I hope that it is worth it. It certainly was for the couple on the show, they were able to resume their sex life in about 6 weeks after years of abstaining. Take care Darlene
Guest guest
Deb, and to all who watched the TV show on vulvodynia, did the lady say that she had constant burning all the time or did she say she had just pain on contact??????? because many doctors have told me that surgery won't work for women with constant burning, only with POC. I have vulvodynia which is constant burning, women with POC are said to have vulvar vestibulitis, there not the same thing. But I was told that woman can have both too. Please respond if anyone can answer my question. Sincerely, a
