Guest guest
I already have RX coverage, but with high copays. I’ve taken this card printed off the internet site into the pharmacy and been told it is basically useless and I must forgo running the RX through my plan if I am to receive a slight discount of around 20%. At full cost of the medication, this plan seems to good to be true and it may very well be. That was my experience, and looking forward to hearing more from each one of your individual experiences. Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2012 9:52 AM To: Stillsdisease Subject: Our own Still's Needy Meds Page Good day everyone, As I've posted before, the foundation has been working with www.needymeds.org <http://www.needymeds.org> that supplies NO/LOW cost medications for those in need as well as prescription cards for up to an 80% savings on prescriptions, some over the counter products and even behind the counter pet meds. They have linked with the International Still's Disease Foundation to create our own Still's page breifly explaining the disease and a list of medications used. They also link our international site there as well as other organizations that offer assistance in areas for Still's patients. If you need medication assistance or could use a discount on something please use them. The foundation will get donations on all used with the prescription cards. The cards aren't quite finished yet but I will post when they are. They will have our logo and a specific number for the foundation so that we will have credit for the percentages spent on them. Please visit the site: http://www.needymeds.org/indices/disease_resource_pages.htm <http://www.needymeds.org/indices/disease_resource_pages.htm>
Guest guest
I'm sorry you didn't qualify for much of a savings with the discount card , but Needy Meds is about much more than the prescription discount cards. It is not a plan. You don't pay anything for it. You don't have to use it. The card and the whole site is just to use if you want to, if it is more benificial than what you are paying or have available. With the Needy Meds Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) Some people qualify for free medications and programs, some low cost and some don't. They partner with organizations, companies and affiliates to help people not to solicit anything. I personally know people that have been helped. Needy Meds does not charge for what they do. It's simply an option, not a requirement. If one person is helped then it is worth the work and the oportunity to put them in touch with the orgainization. Guest guest
Thanks for the great information I will go check it out. Any kind of help is wonderful. These type of programs are out there but are hard to find and if you have something like Medicaid then you don't qualify even though I need a certain injection. It can be a great help or a double edge sword. Thank you again . Hugs and many blessings, P Corpus Christi, Tx
