Guest guest
One little bit to add... A January article appearing on the FAAAS website featured at a link on the Aspires-Relationships.com web site home page is not otherwise easy to access when going directly to the FAAAS website. This is due to a comprehensive reformatting and reconstruction of that web site which has left many articles not accessible because links to FAAAS's large article archive do not work, and a current link to "articles" merely recycles to the very limited current offering of articles. So... Access the FAAAS articles as and others come across them, but then download them, reformatting or editing as you see fit, but make sure you keep the original link and if you republish them, please observe courtesies regarding source and attribution. The January article on AS Partner communication is very good. Next weekend our adult support group is being visited by a very savvy speech/language pathologist. I'm forwarding the FAAAS January article to her in a reformatted, complete form so she can add some of its points to her general presentation about effective communication in all situations requiring "best practices." This has special significance at the workplace and in other business or environmental settings where caution and socially acceptable behavior are expected by workmates and colleagues. If accommodations are requested, it's important for the individual knowing they must be made to understand the boundaries, tolerances, and limits of those settings. They're likely to be different not only in kind but in "intensity" than intimate relationships, but no less important. N.
