Guest guest
Hey Gail! I Gang! Long time! Hope all are well. I am sorry for the long absence but I've had a lot going on here. Including no longer getting my gold shots as the company informed my rheumy that they are no longer making it because it is too expensive and not enough demand..... I suppose me shouting is not demanding enough? lol Gail, I am having a similar situation here with my husband, also disabled, but at least we can turn to the VA as he is 100% service connected from army accident/injury. But, oddly enough the VA does put through to your private insurance if you have any! So here is all I can offer as a possible help. Maybe have your dentist office (or you could try) ask about submitting this to your medical insurance as a medical emergency. I know my daughter got a percentage paid when she had painful wisdom teeth removed. It wasn't even 1/2 I don't think, but it's something to at least try for. Especially since the teeth were likely injured a long time ago in an accident, which unfortunately means you have to be on the lookout for this to re-occur with other nearby teeth. My husband, the dentist now surmises, that during the accident my husband must have slammed his jaw shut when his head struck the windshield that it caused micro fractures of many teeth. So far he's had to have 3 or 4 repaired, he could be eating bread one day and a tooth just breaks off!!!! Best of luck girl. I'm behind way behind with everyone, I am trying to make a few minutes each day now to keep up rather than waiting to check e-mail for a 2 week period (thinking, " well, when I feel up to it.... " ) but the I end up here for 3 hours and come away with my shoulder killing me and all! Boo hiss! love to one and all! -Jo Dear friends, sorry it's been so long since I posted, been busy with my husband having surgery again. Just wanted to know if, in all of your research, has anyone ever found a program that helps pay for dentures?
