Hi Sherry,

My old Rheumy put me on Actemra and I tried it twice. First time broke out in

hives all over second time had swelling of my legs, ankles and feet. New Rheumy

tried Actrmra a third time with a lot of premeds and it took away my fevers and

flare. Sadly after a week I started with SEVERE joint pain that would keep me

awake at night in tears. It did not go away until I started Kineret. Even then

there were a few days I did not take Kineret and the Actemra pain returned. My

Rheumy said that he attended a conference and it was reported that although it

helped with chief complaint, it also caused excruciating pain. If you try it, I

really hope it works for you.
