The hep postponed this month's apt, because they had gotten several urgent infants added to the schedule, and the lab's we'd had that week showed stable LFTs and an improvement in the bili. Labs also showed yet another jump in the PT so we had to go to the hospital for another vitamin K shot. I knew that was coming, Q's at the maximum oral dosage and he's still been bleeding a lot from tiny cuts and loose teeth. There's frequently blood on his pillow in the mornings. He's pretty nonchalant about it though. Seems to feel OK. > We went trick-or-treating tonight. We live in a huge high-rise, so just went in the building. The deal is that people are supposed to put a sign on their door if they want kids to stop. So there's lots of walking up and down long hallways looking for signs. After the first half-dozen floors, I convinced Q that he could go one way off the elevator and I'd go the other, so he didn't have to walk down unless there were signs. After a dozen or so hits, he decided I could carry his bag. He didn't want to quit until we'd canvased all 23 floors, but he was sure moving slow by the time we got back home. He had to sit down to go through his stash. I had the foresight to have him wear his pajamas under his costume, so he was in bed quickly. Fortunately Wednesday is his school's early day, so he'll be home and resting by 2 tomorrow. > Hope you and your family are doing well. > Pam
