Guest guest
Adam, I have had several infections, my symptoms during this time are an elevated temp, nausea, chills, URQ pain. And, of course when I have these infections my white blood cell count is 2-3 times normal. Love,
Guest guest
Adam, Those are the symptoms that Phil had when he first got sick. Fever and jaundice has been his biggest symptoms. Look for the jaundice in the whites of the eyes and the fever over 101 means get to the doctor or ER because there could be a blockage. Phil had vomiting, pain, fever and chills for several weeks before he got to a doctor the jaundice came a little later and at first they didn't diagnose it as a liver infection but did take blood tests and the results of them sent him to the hospital for Christmas eve. Guest guest
Hi, Adam, I've had lots of infections (cholangitis)...The main symptom is fever. I always go to the hospital if it stays over 100 degrees for more than 2 days, and I also go if it gets over 101 degrees. They admit me, put me on IV antibiotics, and if I don't have a blockage, I get released. If I do have a blockage, then they do a dilation through the ERCP procedure to try to release the blockage in the duct. I hope this info helps. Guest guest
Tina, I have had ulcerative colitis for the last 12 years. My flare-ups involve diarrhea but I've never had that sort of abdominal pain. It was right below my sternum--dead center. I think it might of been bad gastritis. In any case, I'm feeling much better. Thanks to those who sent info about " Infections. " I definitely know what to watch out for now. Adam
Guest guest
Adam, Do you have Ulcerative Colitis. If you've never been diagnosed with it then I would look into it. Those symptoms (especially " the runs " ) sounds like a UC flare up. Where is the abdominal pain located? Lower abdomen could be the colon. I've had experience with flare ups, no PSC related problems yet. Upper right, would probably indicate the liver. Have you lost weight? Either way, see your doctor. I hope you feel better soon. Guest guest
Hi! I don't know if I have an infection or not, but again today my legs ached and my arms were very sensitive to any touch. I couldn't get to sleep because of the nausea, aches and pains. This has been happening very frequently. Didn't know what it was -- still think it just might be in my mind! I had to roll out of bed this morning, crawl into the kitchen to get me some Percoset and crawl back in bed. It took about 30 minutes until the symptoms started to subside. Still don't know what is happening. Hugs, Biddy Infection Symptoms? > > >>I have heard several people mention having problem with infections.
