Yo an all,

Well with my lovely wife and best friend in England, i was lonely and missed her

but had a good day with family....i got to spend time with my four little divas

( granddaughters) and my daughter whom i have not seen since July came over and

brought my grandson!  I did get to text with Patty throughout the day...she

cooked for her son and 15 other Airforce folks!  We had alot of family over and

i ended up having a blast!  But, i too overdid it and m right knee, which needs

replacing SOON, hurts like a toothache!  too much fun!  However, my dad was

the ONE who was a smartass yesterday...sorry, but that is all i can call it!

He sat making snide remarks about me and my sister, who has Lupus....we

mentioned my Alpha One Lung Condidtion and he says in a smart voice, " what's

that? "   My sister replied, " oh that's just we have been tryng to educate you

about for the past few years! "   Go sis!  Of course then he kept making little

snide remarks to one of

my son in laws about my sister and i talking about our illnesses...and we were

not whining just talking!  So, that is why i say these folks here are and

have been better to me than my own family!

Glad you had a good day and let your sister know what's goin on!

God Bless!

Missing my Patty B

Larry B.

Thanks for that sharing Larry B. I see holiday’s as a place where relatives

have a glass of wine or two or.....Shortly after or some time during the day the

subject of the person with illness comes up. It’s a time to take the good from

what our families have to offer, but remember ignorance is still lurking close

to the surface. I’m glad that this group is an opportunity for a real sense of

family. Looking forward to getting to know more of you and closer to those I

know already. Absence makes the heart grow fonder Larry, you soon will have your

Patti back. Another example of we play we pay though. I’m having a migraine

today and plan on being in bed to rest off the celebrating. My doggie Lucy was

patient about letting me wait to take her out until the Advil I took kicked in.

I have every narcotic there is if I want to take them for these headaches and

they don’t touch the pain like regular Advil. I just began taking it a week

ago for migraines coming on and it is working for now. Looking forward to

hearing about how your holiday went. Merry after Christmas to everyone who is

experiencing hangover symptoms but didn’t take a drink!!! xo
