Guest guest
Oh no Madeleen!! Just when I thought it was safe to take the D!! I had chronic fatigue at one time and once you have it, it doesn't go away. So THIS could be the reason my Vitamin D level is so low? My doctor wants me to take 2000 iu a day. And I thought - okay no problem. But NOW THIS!! > > It is possible that higher doses of taking D3 may not be so good for those who have an autoimmune disease, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, MS and RA. Important to have both 25-D and 125-D tested. > > Apparently people who have the above may have vitamin D dysregulation meaning they may have low 25D but high 125 D levels. In that case, high calcium levels can occur resulting in bone loss. The author Dr. Joyce Waterhouse claims that D dysregulation is widespread in inflammatory disease where there is bacterial involvement. > > The author does not recommend high doses of D for those who have high levels of 125D. So be sure to have both 25D and 125D tested! > > here is the link: http://autoimmunityresearch.org/transcripts/waterhouse_lax2006.pdf > > Madeleen > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Looking for last minute shopping deals?
