Guest guest
Everyone gets irratated. That doesn't explain anything. I work in bar and all the regulars know not to tap or make repetitive sounds. Not all my customers are regulars. When someone I don't know starts tapping on the bar I have to ask them to please stop. I explaine that I'ts not that I just find it annoying or irritating, but it in fact hurts me. The anxiety in my chest is overwhelming. I tell them I'm sorry and I know that it is my problem but please, please stop. 99% show compasion. It helps that the staff and regulars confirm that I am not exagerating. I didn't know it was misiphonia until about three weeks ago. Irritation and anoyance is managable. Soft sounds and repetitive sounds literaly hurt me.
