Guest guest
Hey , That’s great confirmation that Bob can add to his list about Dr. Nolan. That’s why I listed the ones I did, was because since they did not say one way or another, does not mean that they will not treat Still’s patients and they are available. I can imagine where you are having slim to no pickings for doctors, that’s kind of remote. You are actually within driving distance from me. I’m in Lakeside, in San Diego County. Being diagnosed since 1977 is a heck of a long time. I feel for you. I’m so happy that you confirmed this , it can help so many people. This is also great to know since for me and my daughter, it’s always an option to get her up to Vista since we go from visit to visit and aren’t positive we like the treatment at times, and of course have never had a second opinion which would be worth the drive as well. Thanks so much . I think of this as fate and can’t thank you enough for speaking up about this. enjoy your evening ok? From: windsinging@... CA) and others, I have driven to see my RA from Idyllwild for 27 years because he diagnosed me and has been an excellent doctor! He is a bit of a drive being in North San Diego County but well worth it. Not nearly as far as I have always chosen to see him since 1977. Often doctors will not tell you how many Still s patents they do have but that doesn't mean they don't know how to treat Still's disease. My doctor is J. Nolan he has myself and another Still s patient. But diagnosed my AOSD in 1977. Just my opinion. Best of luck all, -- Doctors Versed in Stills Disease. Hi Folks: Well, every once in a while I try this over again so I will try it once more? I know that each of you has a Doctor that you go to for your Stills Disease. Now that Doctor may be just a Rheumatologist or He/She may be learning Stills Disease or may have seen many Stills Patients. What we need for our Foundation Files is a list of these Doctors so that when someone calls me, like tonight, I am not all embarrassed because I cannot furnish that person the name of a Stills Doctor or a Doctor that knows what Stills is at least? So if each of you would be so kind as to at least send me the name, address and phone number of the Doctor that is treating you for Stills, it sure would help the Foundation a whole lot. When I asked for this information about a year ago someone told me that they would have to get their Doctors permission to do this? WHY? I can get the same information from the phone book if I live in your area or from the AMA list of Rheumatologist's. All we are trying to do is boil it down to someone with Stills knowledge. So would you please take a few minutes and jot down your Doctors information for me and I will add it to our book and later I can add it to our web page? It sure would be appreciated. It would also help if you would add your opinion of your Doctors experience with Stills. Thank You so very much and you will be saving me from a lot more embarrassment! Love Ya ll!
