Guest guest
April, I wish I had that problem of not having enough fat!!! Although my poor daughter is becoming very thin, for her height 5’5†she is down to almost 100. We may have to use the 45 degree angle soon with her, as it’s harder and harder to find fat. The doctors are not sure what is causing the weight loss. They did a CT and no news back yet, so considering it not to be bad news of lymphoma or something. If anyone knows of a way to loose the fat, I’m all open for suggestions. Tried lowering the HC to 25 mg per day, but my body wants it’s 30. Giving it time, like going up to 30 again on bad days and trying to got to 25. Just need to get rid of some weight, about 70 lbs. Ughhh. I know how to eat right, but lucky to eat at all with as much energy as it takes and being able to cook and then clean up again after. Was thinking of Nutri-System since they provide food. Doesn’t seem like it costs much more than buying groceries. Any one have success with that program besides Marie Osmond? From: raincoin@... There was plenty and many months of high doeses of steroids and the inability to get up and go addded about 40 more pounds to what I already had...it's still there. April Sent from my Verizon Wireless Phone injecting Kineret I always use a 90 degree angle. I am naturally thin, but when I was very sick and 20 lbs thinner than I am now... we had to use a 45 degree angle. I still don't use my legs at all b/c there is not enough fat there for me, I tried and it was way too painful. And, I was also told that the subcutaneous fat layer is located between the fat layer and muscle layer. Which is why you need to pinch up the skin. To date, shots in the belly are more comfortable to me. I do have one area on the left side that, If I am not watchful, has a decent sized vein right under the skin. I don't always realize I have hit that spot until after pulling the needle out and I bleed. Gail (KY)

Guest guest
Don't forget...Marie Osmand didn't start advertising for NutriSystem until AFTER she dancec her fanny off (literally) on Dancing With the Stars! That had much more to do with it than the food she ate. NutriSyayem! Bah! I would loose 70 pounds, too, if my body could dance for 5-7 hours a day. I do good to trudge through my day doing the necessities. April Sent from my Verizon Wireless Phone injecting Kineret I always use a 90 degree angle. Guest guest
Seriously, though...your poor kiddo! I am sorry sheis so thin. I am 5'5 " . I can not imagine being only 100 pounds. That is definately too thin. I wonder if it has anything to do with any of her meds combined with her illnesses. I hope they figure something out soon.
